What a week! We buggered off to Melbourne last Tuesday as my wife had to attend a mortgage and finance broking conference at the Melbourne convention centre, it gave me a great opportunity to catch up with some of the gurus of photographic marketing. I met with' Michael Warshall' from Nulab who helped me to refocus on what is important, I met with the team at 'Instictive Desires' who showed me new ways to present products and also gave me a tour of 'PhotoOne' software, (thanks to Chris) and I met with 'Paul Natoli' from the 'Viva' chain of studios. Once again I was impressed with how these guys go about their marketing. It is not hard to see why they are where they are in the market today. I love Melbourne, they understand food, and I understand how to appreciate it.
The photo above was taken in the Adelaide botanical gardens, in the photo are my son 'Samuel' and his partner 'Teagan'. Unreal photo opportunities in Autumn. We all chucked leaves in the air and rolled around like idiots,(Sam did anyway) then flew back to Perth Monday morning. I managed to procure a cold somewhere along the way....oh well, it is winter I suppose. See ya next time.

Original session
Right!, now you can see what I was talikng about in the post underneath this one which is the original post. I was saying that Rachel's blond hair was a stunning contrast to the sweater she was wearing, yes.... I know that she is not wearing a sweater NOW but she was then!, trust me I'm a doctor. I know a sweater when I see one.
Okay, I feel all successful and important now that I have
successfully created ny first 2 posts so I will say hors d'oeuvres
because I don't know how to say au revoir, even though I was in France last year. Make sure you check out the new website at www.freedomphotography.com.au
I am going to Melbourne in the morning and we leave at 6.15 am. I hope someone reads this, I know my kids will because I will make them, not too sure what I will make them out of yet but I will probably find some raw materials in Melbourne. See you later.

Testing the water
Testing 1,2. Look out folks, I am an unlicensed blog editor so welcome to my first ever post. Please promise that you will be gentle with me. Dale Carter from GTP iCommerce ( the guys who built my website) came down here last week and ran me through the process so here I go, unleashed, unplugged and ready to spray my words across the cyber universe. Oh look, a picture is about to appear.
Well, it appeared on the left so I suppose that is one small step for mankind, not mandingo or mankini which are both relatively new words to the ever evolving english language.
This is Rachel Beniston, when she came for her photoshoot she was wearing a black polo neck sweater which was a stunning contrast to her blond hair. Rachel turned out to be a great sport and she came back for a creative session, this is one of the high key images from that session.
Right, I've got no idea how to add another image so I can show you the original look so I will finish this post and see what happens......DALE!.....help
